Our place is tucked away on the 3rd Cross in Muddamma Garden, just off Nandidurga Road in Benson Town. It’s a quiet little pocket compared to the main roads nearby. We’ve been operating out of No.12/1 for a bit now. Most days, it’s just the sound of knives hitting cutting boards and the smell of spices being toasted. Benson Town has a specific feel to it, very old-school Bangalore, and we like being part of that. We aren't some big factory; it's a small kitchen where we handle everything ourselves. Sometimes the delivery van struggles with the narrow lanes, especially when neighbors have their cars parked out, but we manage. We spend a lot of time sourcing vegetables and making sure everything is cleaned properly before we even start the stove. It gets hot in the kitchen during the afternoons, but that’s part of the job. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. We try to keep things simple and consistent. The weather in Benson Town can be nice and breezy, which helps when we’re working near the ovens. It’s a lot of manual labor, washing pots and packing containers, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting the food out on time to whoever needs it. It’s a straightforward life here at Farah Foods. We usually stay open until the last order is packed and ready.
