Exotic Comforts

You can find us in Kalyan Nagar, specifically on Hennur Road in the Goddalahalli area. Our place is filled with all sorts of things for the home, like cushions and bits of decor that we’ve gathered over time. It isn't a massive showroom, just a comfortable space where we keep things organized as best as we can. The traffic on Hennur Road is usually pretty bad, so we get a lot of people stopping in just to get away from the noise for a minute. We spend our mornings dusting the shelves and rearranging the displays. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us here most days. We don't use any big words to describe what we sell. They are just nice things that make a house feel a bit better. Goddalahalli is a growing neighborhood, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know the people who live nearby. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the customers about the weather or the local news while they browse. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We don’t push anyone to buy anything; we just let them look around. We like the light that comes into the shop in the afternoon. It’s a simple business, and we are happy to be part of the local street life here in Kalyan Nagar, just taking things one day at a time.
