Exide Battery Centre

Exide Battery Centre is located at A/4 in Jayanagar West. We are on the 3rd Main, 32nd Cross, specifically in the 7th Block. Jayanagar is a bit different from the industrial parts of the city; it has more trees and a bit more of a neighborhood feel. Our shop is where we handle all things related to batteries. You’ll see stacks of them against the walls, some new and some old ones waiting to be recycled. It’s a steady job, mostly testing batteries and charging them up. The shop is on a corner, so we get a good breeze sometimes. 32nd Cross is a busy road, but it’s not as chaotic as the main markets. We have our regulars who come in when their cars won't start. It’s a simple setup with a workbench and some tools. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The floor is stained from battery acid here and there, but that’s expected in this business. We have a small TV in the corner that we keep on for the news. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when there isn't much to do. It’s a nice enough area to spend the day. Jayanagar 7th Block is a place where people know each other, so we often end up chatting with the neighbors while we work.
