Mentioning the Fussion Park location usually helps people find us. We have been at this spot for a while now. The car showroom right next door stays busy all day. Inside our place, there is always a bit of dust from the wood. It gets on everything. My shirt is normally covered in it by the middle of the morning. A lot of our time goes into moving things around just to make enough space to work. It is not a massive building but it gets the job done for us. Sometimes the traffic on Ajmera Road makes it difficult for the delivery trucks to pull in. We usually just wait it out and go have some tea. The guys here get pretty tired by the end of the shift, which is understandable. Mostly, we just focus on getting the pieces put together the right way. We do not have a fancy showroom like some of the other places around town. It is just the tools and the smell of the varnish. When the rain hits, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear anyone talk. People have been coming in to ask about tables and chairs for years. It is a regular sort of life. We try to keep the shop organized but that never lasts. There is always another pile of boards waiting to be moved. Lifting and carrying stuff takes up most of our energy. We are at 10 Singasandra and it is home for us.
