We've been here on the second floor of Narayana Pillai Street for a while now. It's a busy part of Bangalore, 560001. Our name is Emirates International Bank Du Telecommunications. It's a bit of a long name, but we get by. Most days we are just busy keeping things running and making sure people get what they need. It’s not a fancy office, just the usual desks and chairs you’d find in any local spot. We’ve grown used to the noise from the street below. Bangalore is always moving, isn't it? People come and go through the doors, some for quick questions and others for longer talks about their accounts or phones. We try to be helpful when someone walks in. Sometimes the lift is slow so people take the stairs to the second floor. It’s just us here, doing the work day in and day out. We don’t have those big glass walls like the new buildings in the tech parks. It feels more like a regular workplace where everyone knows each other’s names. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Shops open and close, but we’re still here at 211. It's funny how you get attached to a specific corner of a building.
