You can find us at C-06 on Dr R P Road in Mulund West, near the Jalahalli area. Elegant Metal Finishers is where we spend our days. The work involves a lot of dipping, spraying, and polishing. It’s a chemical-heavy environment, so we always have the vents going. The smell of solvents is something you just stop noticing after a while. We handle all sorts of metal parts that need a specific coating or a smooth surface. It’s meticulous work, and your eyes can get tired after staring at small pieces all afternoon. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack the finished goods. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the tanks. We wear heavy aprons and gloves most of the time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for the local manufacturers who send their parts to us. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The street outside can get quite congested with delivery trucks. We try to get our shipments out early to avoid the worst of the Mulund traffic. We keep a logbook of every batch we process, just to stay on top of things. It’s a lot of handwriting. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop and do it. At the end of the day, we’re just tired and ready to go home.
