Ecoutopia

We have set up our workspace at No. 1st Main in the 4th Phase of Yelahanka New Town. It is a pretty decent area and is fairly quiet compared to the middle of the city. Ecoutopia is just a small group of us trying to do things a bit differently. Our office is mostly filled with boxes and various samples of materials we are looking into. We do not have much in the way of expensive furniture, just the basics like a few desks and some stools we found. The windows look right out onto the street, and we see the same people walking their dogs every morning. It has a very local, neighborhood feel to it. We try to keep things simple here. There is not a lot of paper around because we prefer keeping things on our laptops, but the shelves are still crowded with bits and pieces. We are not big on formal meetings; we usually just talk across the room while we are working on our own tasks. The neighborhood is nice, and we usually walk to get lunch at the small food places nearby. It is not a corporate environment at all. It feels more like a workshop where we spend our hours thinking about how to waste less in our daily lives. We do not even have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. It is a bit of a trek for some, but we like it.
