Our yard is over at 32/2 Banneraghatta Road in Sakinaka, which is quite near Meenakshi Mall. We handle a lot of steel here. It is a heavy job and it gets pretty loud with all the metal moving around. We have been operating from this location for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent loading trucks or checking the inventory in the back. We supply to builders and people doing their own home renovations. It is not a clean environment, there is usually some rust or dust on our clothes by the end of the shift. We are not a big corporation with fancy offices. We just have a small space where we do the billing and take orders. The traffic on Banneraghatta Road can be a real nightmare, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. Sometimes things get backed up, but we just keep working through the pile. We know our stock well. If you need a specific type of rod or sheet, we usually have it somewhere in the stack. We do not do much talking, mostly just getting the orders out. It is physical work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We have seen the area around the mall change a lot, but we are still here doing the same thing every day. It is just how it goes for us.
