People often ask where we are exactly, and usually, we just say we're over on Old Madras Road, specifically at number 147 in Bidarahalli. It’s out in the Virgonagar area. The East Point College Of Engg & Tech Virgonagar has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. Some mornings the traffic on Old Madras Road is quite heavy, but once you get into the campus, things settle down a bit. We spend a lot of time here dealing with the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a place like this. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes the power flickers or we have to fix a leak in one of the hallways, but that’s just how it goes with buildings. The staff knows the local tea shops nearby pretty well. Being in Virgonagar Po means we are a bit away from the main city buzz, which is nice sometimes. You get used to the sounds of the road and the rhythm of the students coming and going. We don’t have any fancy speeches about what we do. It’s mostly just making sure the gates are open on time and the classrooms are ready for whoever is showing up that day. If you’re looking for us, just look for the Bidarahalli turnoff. It’s a straightforward place with a lot of concrete and trees. We’ve been at No.147 for a long time and the walls show it, but it’s home for us during the work week and we like it here. It is just our local spot.
