Eagle Coconut Distributors

Eagle Coconut Distributors is located at Marthahalli Antop Hill 124. This isn't an office or a shop in the traditional sense. It’s a big yard where we handle thousands of coconuts every week. They arrive on big trucks from the rural areas, and we have to unload them by hand. It’s tough work and you have to be strong to keep up. The whole place smells like fresh coconut and earth. We spend most of our day sorting them into different piles. Some are for drinking and some are for cooking. We use simple tools and a lot of manual labor to get things done. The ground is always messy with husks and shells, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have a small shed at the back with a couple of chairs and a ledger where we write down the sales. It can get extremely hot in the afternoons, so we try to do the heaviest work early in the morning. Marthahalli is a very busy place, and getting the trucks through the narrow lanes to number 124 is always a challenge. We don't have a website or any fancy gadgets. People just know we are here and they come by when they need a bulk order. It’s a very basic way of earning a living, but it’s what we’ve done for years. We just keep our heads down and handle the coconuts as they come.
