Shivaji Nagar is always a bit crowded, and our place at 1st C Cross is right in the middle of it all. The address is 75/1, and you have to look closely to see the sign sometimes when the street gets packed. We have been operating out of this small room for a while. It's not very big, so we have to stack things up high to make everything fit. Sometimes the light in the back flickers a bit, but we just ignore it and keep working. People from the neighborhood drop in and out all day. Some just want to ask a question or see if we have something specific in stock. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. When it rains, the water splashes up near the door, so we have to keep the mats clean. It’s a simple life running a center like this. We handle the daily tasks as they come. There is no big corporate strategy here. We just open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and see who comes through the door. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the week, but we prefer being busy over sitting around. If you are looking for 75/1, just look for the blue door near the corner of the cross. We are usually there unless we stepped out for a quick lunch.
