Our workshop is over in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, specifically at 240/B. It’s a busy part of town near Ramabai Ambedker Nagar. At Dovetail Furnitures Pvt Ltd, we spend most of the day surrounded by wood and tools. The air always has that smell of cut timber and varnish. It’s loud because of the machines, but that’s just how an industrial area is. We’re located near Priyadarshani Chawk, right on Vasantrao Naik Maha Marg. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you don't know the landmarks around here. The roads get pretty crowded with trucks and lorries moving materials. We don't have a glossy showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by benches, saws, and piles of materials waiting to be turned into something useful. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep the floors at the end of the day. It’s hard work on your hands and back, but we’ve been at it for a long time now. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes to ask questions about a chair or a table. We just stay focused on what’s on the workbench. It’s a practical setup. There are no fancy offices here, just the workshop floor and a small desk for the paperwork. We like being in this part of the city because it feels like things are actually getting built here every single day and that feels right to us.
