Divya Bharathi Vegetarian Restaurant

You can find us at number 68 on MG Road here in Bangalore. It's a very busy street, as anyone who lives in this city knows. We’ve been serving vegetarian food at this spot for quite a long time now. The city has changed so much around us with the new buildings and the metro, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. We get a lot of people coming in from the offices nearby, especially when the clock hits one. Lunchtime is usually a bit of a scramble and it gets loud. We don't have fancy menus or any of that modern fusion stuff. It’s just standard veg food that people seem to like. We try to keep the prices fair so people can come back and eat here regularly. The staff has been with us for years, mostly. We know how the kitchen runs and we stay out of each other's way. MG Road is always noisy with horns and people, but once you step inside, it’s a little bit calmer. We don't do any big advertising. Sometimes we run out of seating during the peak hours and people have to wait on the sidewalk for a bit. We don't mind the rush, it keeps us on our toes. Bangalore is a fast city, but we like our little corner of it. We just keep the coffee hot and the plates full for whoever walks in.
