Silga Gomma Chennai

Our place, Silga Gomma Chennai, is really easy to find if you know where the Dinnur bus stop is. We are right next to it, and if you look across the street, you’ll see Chitra Bakery. It’s a handy spot because if we get hungry, we just pop over there for something to eat. The traffic around R.T. Nagar can get pretty crazy during rush hour, so being right by the bus stop means there are always people moving about. We’ve been operating from this location for some time now. It’s not a huge shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical workspace where we handle our daily tasks. Most of the time, the shop floor is busy with whatever job we have going on at the moment. We deal with rubber products mostly, which is what the Gomma part of our name is about. It’s dusty work sometimes, and it can get a bit loud, but that’s just how it is. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows each other and we just get on with the jobs as they come in. Sometimes things go smoothly, and other days we’re dealing with broken machinery or late deliveries. That’s just life in a small business in Chennai. We like being part of the R.T. Nagar community. It’s got a good vibe and plenty of energy. If you’re waiting for your bus at Dinnur, you’re basically standing right outside our door.
