Running Dhanalakshmi Telecom out here on Magadi Main Road 41519 keeps us on our feet. The shop isn't very large but we pack a lot into it. There’s always someone coming in asking about a phone or a recharge. Magadi Main Road is always packed with people going somewhere. We’ve got shelves full of stuff that sometimes needs dusting. It’s mostly just us sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person. We don’t have a big team or anything. It's a small family type of setup. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door but we put a bucket there. We know most of the regulars by their first names now. The traffic noise is constant but you get used to it after a week. We keep the lights on late most nights because that's when people finish work. It’s a simple living. We don't spend money on fancy displays. If we have it in stock, it's on the shelf. If not, we try to get it. That’s how we operate here at number 41519. It is tucked between a couple of other shops. Just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many small parts it is hard. Most of our day is just chatting and fixing small issues for people.
