Dfm Technology is based out of A-15 in the Hmt Industrial Estate. It’s one of those older industrial areas that has a lot of history to it. You can see it in the buildings and the way the roads are laid out. We’ve been in this unit for quite a bit, and it’s served us well. Our daily life involves a lot of precision work. We have different machines set up across the floor, and there’s always that rhythmic clicking and whirring sound going on from morning until evening. It’s not a massive operation, just a steady one. We make various components, and sometimes the specs are really tight, so we have to spend a lot of time hovering over the measurements. The light in the workshop isn't always the brightest, but we know where everything is. Usually, we have lunch together in the small break area near the back. We talk about the weekend or how the traffic was coming in. We don't really go for those big corporate meetings; we just stand around the machines and figure out the plan for the day. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. When a customer calls, they usually talk directly to whoever is handling the job. It keeps things simple and avoids any confusion. We just like to get the parts finished and shipped out without too much fuss or delay. It's a plain, working shop that stays busy.
