We are located in Fortune Chambers on the 4th floor. It sounds like a big name, but it’s just an office building like any other in the city. Design Core India Pvt Ltd occupies a space up there where we spend most of our daylight hours. The lift works most of the time, which is good since we’re on the 4th floor. The office itself is full of light because of the height, and we’ve got a decent view of the rooftops around us. We do a lot of designing and planning here, so there are usually blueprints or digital sketches all over the place. It’s not the most organized office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. We have a small kitchen area for making tea and that’s about the extent of our luxuries. The staff here is small, so we all know each other well and there isn’t much formality. We don't spend money on fancy marketing materials or expensive decor. Our focus is just on the projects we have in front of us. Most days involve a lot of sitting at desks and occasionally arguing over where a certain file went. It’s a very normal, human environment. We like being in Fortune Chambers because it’s easy enough for people to find, even if the building is a bit older. We just keep our heads down and do the work we’re paid for, without any of that corporate jargon or empty promises.
