If you have ever been to Kalasipalyam, you know it is the heart of the transport business. We are up on the first floor at number 9, right near Minerva Circle. Deluxe Roadlines Pvt Ltd is basically an office where the phones never stop ringing. We have a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but it is worth it to get away from the street noise for a bit. Downstairs is always crowded with buses and trucks, so being on the first floor gives us a little bit of breathing room. We handle a lot of logistics and move things from one place to another. It is a lot of paperwork and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. Sometimes the connection is bad and we have to shout a bit to be heard. The office has old wooden desks and chairs that have been here for years. We are not really into fancy furniture or modern designs. It is a place for work. Most of our customers are people who have been using our services for a long time. They know where we are and they know how we operate. We spend our days tracking deliveries and making sure the trucks are on the right path. It is a bit stressful when there are traffic jams or rain, but we are used to it by now. We just take things one day at a time and get the parcels where they need to go.
