Deepeka Telecom

Deepeka Telecom is situated at number 2 near the Bangalore GPO. Being right in the heart of the city, we see a lot of different people every day. The shop is quite small and tucked into an older building with high walls. We deal with mobile connections and various telecom needs. It’s often very crowded because the space is so limited. We have glass counters filled with SIM cards and small gadgets. The lighting is a bit yellow and makes the place feel even older than it is. We spend most of our time talking to customers and trying to explain different plans. It can get a bit loud with the traffic from the main road right outside. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I’ve seen the city change a lot around us. We have a small back room where we keep extra stock and a kettle for making tea. The floor is made of old stone tiles that are worn down in the middle. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy displays. It’s just a practical shop for people who need to get their phones sorted out quickly. Sometimes we have to wait a while for the systems to update, so we just chat with the customers. It’s a very human way to run a business. We stay open until the GPO area starts to quiet down in the evening.
