Deepak Provision Store

Deepak Provision Store is tucked away over at 3465 on the 69Th Cross in Kumarswamy Layout. It is one of those spots that just blends into the neighborhood after a while. We have been working out of this space, dealing with the daily flow of people looking for their basic groceries and household bits. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to get piled up quite high. You will see bags of rice sitting near the entrance and various bottles of oil lined up where there is space. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at the same time. The layout of the street can be a little confusing if you are not from around here, but the locals know the way. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and checking what needs to be ordered for the next week. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving when it gets hot in the afternoon. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just drop by because they ran out of milk or need some sugar for their tea. It is just a practical place to get what is necessary without any fuss. The floor is a bit worn down from years of footsteps, which I guess shows how many people have stepped in and out of here to grab their daily provisions.
