Deeksha Interiors

The shop is located at 801/A on Prakash Nagar Main Road. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside. Inside Deeksha Interiors, it usually smells like wood and glue. We have piles of samples sitting on the counters and some old catalogs that we look through. It is not a showroom where everything is perfect. There are bits of laminate and wood shavings on the floor most days. We spend a lot of time drawing things out on paper or trying to explain how a cabinet will fit in a corner. Sometimes the measurements get tricky and we have to check them two or three times. It is mostly just us working with our hands and trying to figure out the best way to put things together. The lighting in the back isn't great so we do most of our work near the front door where the sun comes in. Clients come in with their own ideas and we try to see if they actually work in real life. Sometimes we have to tell them a certain hinge won't fit or a color will look different under their lights at home. It gets hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the glass. We usually keep a fan going but it does not do much. It is a simple operation here. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to get things done.
