Deccan Traders

We have been operating out of this spot on Church Road in Shantinagar for quite a while now. It is a decent area, mostly quiet except for when the school nearby lets out and the kids are everywhere. Deccan Traders is just a small setup, really. We spend most of our mornings taking calls and sorting through invoices for the different things we trade. It gets a bit cluttered in here with all the paperwork and the boxes piled up in the corner. I usually have the tea guy come by around ten, which is the highlight of the morning. We deal with various suppliers and try to get things moved to where they need to go. Shantinagar is a good place to be based because it is central enough for the deliveries. Sometimes the traffic on Church Road is a nightmare, especially on Sundays or during local festivals. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. People just call us or drop by the office at 34/1. My desk is always a mess of sticky notes and old ledgers that I need to organize. It is a simple business, just buying and selling what people are looking for at the time. We have a couple of staff who have been here since the start. We mostly just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the transport arrives on time. It is not glamorous, but it keeps us going.
