Deccan Metals

Deccan Metals is based in the Nagarathpet Industrial Layout. We are at 16/1 on the first floor of the Krupa Building, which sits right on Hosur Main Road. Being in an industrial zone means there is always the sound of machinery and heavy trucks nearby. Our office is a small room where we keep our ledgers and handle the paperwork. The actual metal work and storage usually happen downstairs or in the nearby sheds. It is quite a dusty place, and you can always smell metal and oil in the air. We have been here for many years now. It’s not the kind of place where you wear your best clothes because everything is a bit grimy. We work with various types of metal and supply to different workshops in the area. Our day starts very early when the first trucks arrive on the main road. We don’t have a marketing team or any fancy presentations. We just know about the materials we handle and try to get the orders right. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to stop work for a bit, but that’s just part of life in this layout. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving as steadily as possible. It is hard work but we are used to it.
