Deccan Manpower Consultancy

We run Deccan Manpower Consultancy from a small office at 826/A in Vijaya Nagar. We are on the 5th Main, right on the Service Road 1st Floor. If you know where the Reliance Web World is, we are just near there. The service road is always packed with bikes and cars trying to avoid the main highway traffic. It makes for a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a week. Inside, it’s mostly just us talking to people who are looking for work. We have a few old computers and chairs that have seen better days. It isn't a glamorous business. We spend a lot of time looking through papers and making phone calls. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. We started this because we knew a lot of people who needed jobs and companies that needed help. It grew from there. People come in and tell us their stories, and we try to see where they might fit. It’s a lot of listening and waiting. In the evenings, the sun hits the windows directly, so it gets a bit warm. We usually close up once the traffic on the service road starts to thin out a little. It’s just a regular office doing regular work for the community.
