Our office is in Indiranagar II Stage, specifically at No. 1013/E on 17th E Cross. Indiranagar is a nice part of town, though it’s gotten a lot more crowded lately. We have a fairly quiet spot compared to the main roads. D.C. Johar & Sons Pvt Ltd has been around for quite a while, and we try to keep that family-run feel going. The office is inside a building that looks like it could have been a house once. We have several rooms dedicated to different parts of the business. Most of our day is spent dealing with customers and managing our inventory. We aren't a corporate giant, so things are pretty informal here. You might see someone’s lunch bag on a desk or a stack of newspapers in the corner. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the city dust makes it hard. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and tea. We spend a lot of time talking to each other rather than just sending emails. It feels more personal that way. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the same work we’ve been doing for years. The neighborhood is full of trees, which makes the walk to the office pleasant in the mornings. We just open up, do our work, and make sure everything is sorted before we lock up for the evening. It’s a steady, reliable kind of life here and we wouldn't have it any other way than this simple routine.
