Days Processor Designers Are

We are tucked away in K.R. Purm, specifically in Manjunath Badavana. To find us, you really have to look for the Kavery Bakery across the street. We’re in the house belonging to Bheemsen Rao Kulkarni on 1st Cross. It’s not a typical office building by any means. We work out of a converted space that feels a lot like a home because it basically is one. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. Our desks are covered in sketches and computer parts because we do a lot of design work here. The neighborhood is mostly families, so you hear kids playing outside in the afternoons when school gets out. Sometimes the smell of fresh bread from the bakery across the road makes us all hungry way before lunchtime. We started this because we liked making things, and we’ve just stayed in this spot ever since. It’s a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we just pull up another chair from the other room and make space. We don't have a big reception area or a receptionist. If someone knocks on the door, one of us just gets up and answers it. It’s a low-key way to work, and we prefer it that way. We don’t have any big corporate goals, just keeping the projects moving and making sure we get the details right on whatever is on the screen that day.
