Damania Exports

Damania Exports is based over in Indira Nagar on BSA Road. Our office is at 421/G, and it’s usually piled high with boxes and samples of things we are sending out. Exporting stuff is a lot more about paperwork than most people realize. We spend hours checking manifests and making sure everything matches up with the regulations. Indira Nagar is a lively place to work, though finding parking on BSA Road can be a real headache some days. We deal with various products, mostly coordinating between local suppliers and people overseas who need stuff from here. It’s a lot of emails and long-distance calls at odd hours because of the time differences. Sometimes we are here late at night talking to someone on the other side of the world. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s interesting to see where all the local products end up. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen the export market change quite a bit. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine and how to handle the shipping companies. There’s always some new rule to learn or a delay at the port to worry about. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the containers get loaded correctly. It’s a steady kind of work that keeps us on our toes every single day.
