Dal Friday Fine Indian Food Restaurant is situated on Bannerghatta Road, right above the Fabmart at Arekera Gate. You have to take the stairs up to get to us. The road outside is almost always blocked with traffic, which is just how Bangalore is these days. From our windows, you can see the cars and buses crawling along. We get a lot of office workers during the week because there are so many companies around here. The "Fine Indian Food" part of the name makes it sound fancier than it actually is. Inside, it is just a normal restaurant with comfortable seating and a lot of fans. We do a lot of dal and rice dishes because that is what people want for a quick lunch. The kitchen is tucked away in the back and it gets quite hectic when the lunch orders start piling up. I usually spend my time checking the bills and making sure the water filters are working. We have a few potted plants near the entrance, but they struggle a bit with the dust from the main road. It is a practical place to eat. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It is just a team of us making sure the food is hot and the tables are ready. We have been here for a few years now and have seen the area grow quite a bit since we opened.
