D B E Consultants is tucked away in the neighborhood of Horamavu on Muniveerappa Lane, right at number one. It is a pretty quiet street for the most part, which we like. We do consulting work, which mostly means we spend our time looking at various plans and crunching a lot of numbers on our calculators. It is a lot of computer work and having small meetings around a wooden table. We have been in this same building for quite some time now. To be honest, it feels more like a home office than a big professional business place. We have got stacks of blueprints and old files taking up way too much space in the corners of the rooms. People usually come to us when they have a technical problem they just can't seem to solve on their own. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we know everything there is to know. We just look at the facts and give our honest take on the situation. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question. It is a very relaxed atmosphere in here, but we always make sure we get the work done on time. There is no fancy reception area or anyone to greet you, just us working away at our desks. We like keeping things simple and focus on the projects at hand. It has been that way since the beginning and we do not plan on changing it.
