You can find us at Shivdarsan Apartment in Bangalore, specifically in Flat Number 16. Cybermedia India Ltd has been operating from this apartment for quite some time now. We aren't located in one of those shiny new tech parks with all the glass and steel. This is just a regular residential building where we’ve set up our office. It’s a bit more relaxed than those big corporate settings. We have our desks crammed with monitors and there are wires running along the floor in a few places. We do a lot of digital and media work, so there’s always someone typing away or looking at a screen. The lift in the building is a bit slow sometimes, so most of us just take the stairs to the flat. It’s good exercise, I guess. We don't have a dedicated canteen, so we usually go out to one of the small shops nearby for lunch or get something delivered. The office has a lived-in feel to it. It’s not perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. We focus on our daily projects and try to keep up with all the deadlines. Bangalore traffic is always a topic of conversation here during our breaks. We aren't trying to be anything grand. We are just a group of people working out of a flat, trying to do our jobs well and get through the week. It’s a steady, normal kind of place to work.
