Culcutta Interior Furniture

We've been at 31 JP Nagar for quite a while now. It started because we just liked working with wood and seeing how a room changes when you put the right table or cupboard in it. Culcutta Interior Furniture isn't a massive factory or anything like that. It's mostly just us getting dusty every day. People come by the shop when they need a new bed frame or maybe some shelving for their living room. We spend a lot of time measuring things and trying to get the joints to fit just right. Sometimes the wood doesn't cooperate, or a delivery is late, but that's just part of the job. It gets pretty noisy in here with the saws going, but we don't mind. We aren't trying to change the world, just making stuff that stays sturdy for years. Neighbors often pop in to ask if we can fix a broken chair leg or something small. It’s nice being part of the local area. We keep things pretty simple here. Most days are spent covered in sawdust and checking orders. If you walk past our spot in JP Nagar, you’ll probably see us unloading some timber or sketching out a new design on a scrap of paper. We just do our work and hope people like what we make for their homes. It takes effort to get things looking right, but we enjoy the process of turning a raw piece of wood into something useful.
