Crew Events

We’re based out of unit 715-A in the Rajajinagar Industrial Estate, right on Dodda Mavalli Road. It’s a big space which is good because Crew Events has a lot of gear to store. We’ve got stages, lights, and speakers piled up in the back. The floors are concrete and a bit scuffed from moving heavy boxes around. It’s not a fancy office where we host guests with tea. Usually, we meet people at the venues instead. There’s four of us who handle the main stuff, and we hire extra hands when a big show comes up. It’s a lot of physical work, loading trucks and climbing ladders. We’ve had some long nights where we finish at 3 AM and have to be back at 7 AM. That’s just the way the event world works I guess. Sometimes a cable breaks or a speaker fails and we have to scramble to fix it before the doors open. We’ve been in this spot for a few years. The area is mostly factories and warehouses, so it’s pretty quiet at night but loud during the day. We keep a fridge full of cold water for the crew. It’s a messy, loud job but we’ve gotten used to it. We just focus on making sure the setup is ready on time and that everything is plugged in correctly. It is a lot of checking and re-checking every single connection.
