At Cool Tech Refrigeration & Electricals in Doddaballapur 3, we are usually surrounded by dismantled appliances. The shop is more of a workshop than a store. You’ll see fridge compressors, fan motors, and various copper pipes scattered around the floor. It’s a bit of a maze to walk through if you don't know where the tools are. We spend most of our time out on calls, visiting people’s houses when their fridge stops cooling or their washing machine starts making a weird noise. When we are back at the shop, we’re usually busy cleaning parts or testing motors on the old wooden workbench. It’s a hands-on job and our clothes usually have some grease or dust on them by noon. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If the shutter is up, you just walk in and talk to whoever is holding a wrench. Doddaballapur 3 is a place where people appreciate things being fixed rather than thrown away. We keep a lot of spare parts from old machines just in case we need a specific screw or bolt that isn't made anymore. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where the work happens. We take things as they come, one repair at a time, and try to make sure everything is running properly before we call it a day and head home.
