We are based out of 208/E in the 1st stage of HRBR Layout. It is a mix of an office and a small storage area for our food products. We handle a lot of packaged goods that go out to different stores across the city. The building itself is not anything special to look at, just a regular place in HBR layout. We spend a lot of time on our computers tracking inventory and talking to different suppliers. Sometimes the warehouse part gets a bit disorganized when a big delivery comes in unexpectedly and we have to find space for it. There are only four of us who work here full-time. We usually have our lunch together at the small plastic table we kept in the back room. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is fairly quiet compared to the shops on the main roads. We have been operating from this exact spot for several years now. It is a lot of logistics, making sure things do not expire and that they get delivered to the shops on time. We do not have a retail counter, so people do not really walk in off the street to buy things. It is mostly business-to-business stuff. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the records are straight. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we have a good system going.
