Our shop, simply called Communications, is located at Hessarghatta Road Mini Kamla Market 274/1. It’s a small unit inside the market, so it stays fairly cool even in the summer. We mostly deal with phone repairs, recharges, and selling small electronics like headphones or chargers. The space is pretty packed with tools and spare parts scattered across the workbenches. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually tuned to the news, though nobody really watches it closely. Mini Kamla Market is a good spot, and we get a lot of people walking by on their way to grab groceries or other bits and pieces. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished sales pitch. We just look at what’s broken and tell you if we can fix it or not. The lighting inside is a bit bright because we need to see the tiny screws and wires inside the phones. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but it’s a cozy enough place. We have a ledger where we write down all the jobs for the day by hand because we still like doing things that way. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop where we try to keep things moving. We’ve been at this number 274/1 for a long time. The market can get noisy in the evenings, but that is part of the charm of working here.
