Comcast Software Solutions

Being in Bangalore, you kind of get used to the whole tech scene. Our place, Comcast Software Solutions, is tucked away here like a lot of other offices. It’s not a massive glass tower or anything. Most days start with trying to beat the morning rush, which is basically impossible. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of screens, typing away and trying to figure out why a bit of code isn't doing what it should. There’s always someone complaining about the internet speed or talking about where to get a good dosa nearby. It’s a pretty casual setup. We don’t wear suits or have big meetings that go on forever. Usually, it’s just a few of us huddled around a desk looking at a monitor. The office has that smell of old coffee and maybe a bit too much air conditioning. Sometimes we stay late because something broke and needs fixing right then. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. We like the fact that it’s local and we don’t have to deal with too much corporate red tape. Just a bunch of people who know how to build stuff with software. We’ve seen the city change a lot around us, but the work stays pretty much the same. It’s steady, it’s Bangalore, and it’s home for us during the week. We might not have the biggest name out there, but we keep the lights on and the servers running.
