Down here in Payyannur, things move at a slightly different pace than in the big cities. We are located in the Kannur district of Kerala, specifically at the address 670 343. Being lithographers means we deal with a lot of ink, machines, and paper every single day. The smell of the shop is something you get used to pretty quickly after a few days. It is a bit of an old-school trade in some ways, but we still have plenty to do for the local community and people further out. The building is not very large, but it houses everything we need to get the printing done properly. Most of us grew up around here or have lived in Kerala for a long time. It is a local operation, and we like it that way. You won’t find any fancy receptionists or marble floors in our place. Just a bunch of machines and people who know how to run them. Sometimes the monsoon rain hits the roof so loud we have to shout to hear each other over the noise. That is just part of life in Kannur. We take our time with the work to make sure it is done right, though things can get a bit hectic when a big order comes in at the last minute. We do not really have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people talking. It is a straightforward business and we keep it honest.
