Colonial Restaurant

Colonial Restaurant is found on Hessarghatta Road. We are specifically at the 1st Cross in S R Nagar, Bangalore 560057. There is a Coffee Day nearby, which is a good landmark if you are looking for our front door. We have been in this same building for several years now. It is a two-story setup but we mostly use the ground floor for the actual seating. The area gets a lot of traffic from the main road every day. We see a lot of commuters and local residents coming in. The staff is just a few local guys who have been with us for a while now. We do not have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable for working in a hot kitchen all day long. The tables are a bit old, but we keep them clean for the next person. We do not do much advertising at all. Most people find us because they live right here in S R Nagar. It is a straightforward kind of place to eat. We start very early in the morning to get the prep work done. By lunchtime, it is usually quite loud and busy in here. We do not mind the noise. It just means people are eating and the business is moving. We have a regular routine that we follow every day. It is not glamorous but it pays the bills for us.
