Cognitio Technologies

We set up Cognitio Technologies at 136 Jayanagar, specifically on 1st Carpenter Street. It’s a nice enough area, though Jayanagar has definitely gotten a lot more crowded than it used to be. Carpenter Street is a bit tucked away, which is actually good because it’s a little quieter than the main shopping blocks. We have a small office where we do our tech work. It’s mostly just a bunch of desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee cups. We aren't one of those massive tech firms with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller group of people who actually enjoy the work we do. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes to get here. Jayanagar is great because you can walk out and find good food just a few minutes away. We’ve been in this specific spot for a few years now. The building is older but it works for us. We don't have any fancy signs or big glass walls. It’s just a regular door on a regular street. Sometimes we stay late when we’re trying to figure out a problem, and other times we leave a bit early if the work is done. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just focus on the code and the projects we have in front of us. It’s a pretty relaxed atmosphere, but we do get our work done. It feels more like a small community than a corporate office.
