City Eyez

We’ve been here on Pipeline Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Srinagar, right near Onake Obava Cross. People usually drop in when they need their glasses fixed or if they're looking for a new frame. It’s just a small place, really. We keep things simple. Most of our customers are from around the neighborhood. We know a lot of them by name because they've been coming here for years. It gets a bit crowded on weekends, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that’s just Bangalore for you. We just focus on getting the job done. If someone needs a quick repair, we try to do it right then and there. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and pushy sales staff. It’s more of a regular shop where you can sit down and talk about what you need without feeling rushed. We have a decent collection of frames, nothing too over the top, just practical stuff that lasts. My assistant helps with the fittings and I usually handle the rest. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to make sure people leave happy with how they see. That’s about it, nothing complicated. If you're walking past the 1119 building, you'll see us. It’s a straightforward setup. We've got a small bench outside for when the shop is full.
