City Collections

City Collections is over at Plot No 56/2 in Kawada Nagar, which is part of the Gandhi Nagar area. Specifically, we are in B-13. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time because the plot numbers don't always follow a straight line. We’ve had to give directions over the phone quite a bit to delivery drivers and visitors. Our space is mostly full of shelves and ledgers. We handle a lot of different items and records, so things can look a bit cluttered to an outsider. There’s a specific way we have everything organized, even if it looks like a mess of paper and folders to anyone else. The building is quiet for the most part, except for when the mail arrives in the late morning. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance. Most of us have been working here at Kawada Nagar for several years now. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It’s a very local feel. We usually start the day by cleaning off the desks and checking the mail from the day before. The afternoon slump usually hits right after lunch, so we usually have some strong tea to keep going. We don't do much in the way of marketing. People usually find us because they need to settle something or drop something off. It’s just a regular office doing regular things.
