Chungs Chinese Corner Restaurant

You can find us at No 13, West Minister, on Cunningham Road. We are right opposite H M Geneva House. This part of Bangalore has changed a lot, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same over the years. We do Chinese food, the kind that people in India have grown up eating. It’s not the fancy stuff you get in five-star hotels, but it’s what we like to cook for our customers. The restaurant is on the ground floor at No.106 and it has that old-school Bangalore feel to it. We have regular customers who have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own children to eat here too. The tables are sturdy and the lighting is just normal. We don't have any trendy decorations or music. The kitchen is tucked away in the back, and you can usually hear the woks clanging from the dining room. Cunningham Road is always busy with traffic, so it can be a bit of a hassle to reach us sometimes, but we appreciate everyone who makes the trip to 560052. We don't do a lot of talking about ourselves or what we do. We just focus on the food and making sure the orders go out correctly to each table. The staff is experienced and they don't need much instruction anymore. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city. We are just happy to be a reliable spot where you can get a good plate of noodles.
