We are over at 27 Annasandra Palya in Nityanand Nagar, 560017. It’s a bit of a residential area, so we get a lot of neighbors coming in for a meal. The name Chulha refers to the traditional stove, and that’s the kind of vibe we try to keep, even though we use modern equipment now. It’s not a large place at all. We have a few tables and chairs, and it can get a bit tight when the evening rush starts and everyone is hungry. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy signs. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the neighborhood. The walls are simple, and we don't have any expensive art or decorations. We focus more on making sure the dal and the rotis are made right every time. The kitchen staff has been with us for a while, and they know how the locals like their spices. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the market was short that morning, but we always have something else to offer. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it’s just the sound of cooking and plates. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just open up in the morning and do our work until it’s time to close. It’s a hard way to make a living, but we like seeing the same faces every day at our tables in this part of town.
