Christel House Learning Centre

You can find our learning centre at No.150/24 along the Kodigehalli Main Road in Nagashetty Halli. It’s a place where we do a lot of teaching for the kids in this community. The building is a decent size and we try to use every corner of it for something useful. It’s not a cold, professional environment; it’s more of a place where people are constantly moving and talking. We have students coming in from all parts of the local neighborhood. The staff consists of people who genuinely care about the progress the kids are making. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the things the students need to learn their lessons. The desks are well-used and the shelves are full of textbooks and paper. Sometimes the road outside gets really congested, but inside we try to keep things orderly. We have a kitchen area where we handle meals for the students, which is a big part of our daily schedule. It’s a lot of work to keep everything running, from the cleaning to the actual teaching, but we get it done. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just a school where children come to get an education so they can have a better shot at things later on. Most of the families here know us well because we’ve been in Nagashetty Halli for quite a while. It's a busy, noisy, and productive place.
