Chowdeshwaramma Tent House

We have been running this tent house on Magadi Road for quite some time now. We are located in Cholarapalya, Sector 46 C 42. It is a busy area with lots of trucks and people moving about. We keep all the poles, fabrics, and chairs piled up in the warehouse area. It is heavy work, moving all that stuff around for weddings or local festivals. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading the old truck we have. The gear is not brand new, it has seen a lot of parties and events over the years, but it is sturdy and does the job. My family helps out, especially my younger sons when they are not at school. We do not do anything fancy, just provide the setup when someone has a function. Sometimes we are up very early or very late getting things ready before the sun gets too hot. It is loud near the road, so we have to shout to hear each other. We do not have a big office, just a small desk where we keep the ledger for bookings. People just walk in or call us up when they need something. We know most of the families around Cholur palya because we have set up tents for their kids' birthdays or for funerals too. It is a mix of everything. We just keep going, making sure the tents are tied down right so they do not blow away if the wind picks up.
