Chitra Paying Guest

Chitra Paying Guest is located in the Banaswadi Industrial Layout, very close to Devamatha Central School. We have a lot of people staying here who work in the nearby factories or teach at the schools. It’s a big house, number 41558, and we’ve converted it to accommodate guests comfortably. I live on the ground floor, so I’m always around if someone needs anything. We provide simple rooms with the basics like a bed, a fan, and a small cupboard. It’s not like staying in a hotel, it’s more like being in a shared home. There is a common area where people sit and talk or watch some television in the evening. I handle the cleaning and make sure the water tank is full every morning. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, but we have a plumber who comes by quickly. The neighborhood is mostly quiet at night, which is good for those who need to rest after a long shift. We have a small garden in the front with a few potted plants that I try to keep alive. It’s a straightforward arrangement—you get a room and a bit of company if you want it. Most of our guests stay for a long time, so we all get to know each other pretty well. I don’t go in for big advertisements; word of mouth usually keeps our rooms filled. It’s just a honest way to earn a living while helping others out and providing a safe space.
