Chirag Tubes

We are located at D 23 in the Yeshwantpur Devraj Urs Truck Terminal. It’s right near the Kanteerava Studio, which is a landmark most people around here know. This place is basically a huge area filled with trucks, dust, and a lot of movement. We keep our tubes and pipes stored in the warehouse space here. It’s a big, echoing building and it gets pretty hot under the metal roof during the summer. We spend our time checking the inventory and making sure the right sizes are ready for when the transport arrives. The truck terminal is a world of its own, with drivers sleeping in their cabs and tea stalls everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the business happens. We often have to shout over the sound of engines to be heard. My desk is tucked in a corner near the back where it’s a bit quieter. We use a lot of chalk to mark the different batches of tubes so we don't mix them up. It’s a very manual process, moving things by hand or using the old trolley. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the big open doors. It’s a simple, gritty job and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. There isn't any fluff here, just stacks of metal and a lot of logistics to handle every single day.
