Chinnu Chicken Centre

We run this small chicken shop out in Nelamangala. Chinnu Chicken Centre is just a basic place where we prepare fresh meat for the local families and the small eateries nearby. Every morning starts very early, usually before the sun is even up, getting everything ready for the day ahead. It is quite a messy job with all the cleaning involved, but someone has to do it. We have a few regular customers who come in every Sunday like clockwork and we usually have their order ready before they even ask. The shop gets pretty busy during festivals and holidays, and sometimes there is a bit of a wait out on the street. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get your chicken cut exactly the way you want it for your cooking. My brother and I take turns at the counter and handling the stock. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with whatever light we have until it comes back. It is not always easy work, but we’ve been doing this for years now and we are used to it. The floor is always being washed because we like to keep things as tidy as possible given the nature of the work. People in Nelamangala know us, and we know them well. We don't have a website or fancy posters. If you need chicken, you just come over and we take care of it for you. It’s straightforward work and we just keep it simple.
