Chinmaya General Store

We are located at 1/48-2, right opposite Rajarajeshwari Dental College in Kumbalagodu. Chinmaya General Store is a place where both local residents and students from the college come to shop. Because we are near the college, we keep a lot of things that students need, like notebooks, pens, and plenty of snacks for their late-night studying. But we also have all the regular kitchen items for the families living around here. The shop is a bit of a mix of everything. It can get pretty loud when the classes let out and a bunch of students come in all at once for cold drinks. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things might look a little disorganized, but we know exactly where the soap or the salt is hidden. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that, it’s just this one shop. The road outside can be a bit dusty when the trucks go by, but we keep the doors open for the breeze. We’ve seen many students come and go over the years as they finish their degrees. It’s nice to be a small part of their lives while they are here. We just try to keep the prices fair and the shelves full so that nobody has to go home empty-handed.
