Chinmai Tent House

We have been running Chinmai Tent House right here at Vijaya Nagar Pipeline Cross for quite some time now. You can find us on Padharayanapura Road 18/1. Most days involve handling the heavy stuff like metal poles and thick fabrics for different gatherings. People around the neighborhood usually stop by when they have something coming up at home or in the street. It is mostly physical work, lugging things from the truck and making sure the poles are steady so nothing falls over during the function. We keep a variety of chairs and tables stacked up in the back. The weather can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, especially when it starts raining unexpectedly while we are setting up a canopy. We just get on with it. It is not a fancy operation by any means. We just focus on getting the tents up where they need to be. Our neighbors know where the shop is because we are always moving things in and out. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it tricky to load the bigger items, but we manage. We have seen a lot of changes in the area over the years, but the work stays pretty much the same. It is just about providing what is needed for a local gathering. We don’t spend much time sitting around. There is always a chair to fix or a cloth to clean before the next job comes through.
